well…its not a hiatal hernia!!!!

we didn’t have to get the GJ tube!

and her Nissen still looks good!

after a long day of waiting and preparing ourselves for the worst, we couldn’t be more thrilled now.  Hannah did awesome as we waited for 2 hours after checking in to go into the surgery room.    it was a quick look down her esophagus and a quick look up her colon…complete with photos.  don’t worry, I wont post them.

what dr stathos did see however, are signs of an allergic reaction inside her colon.  so he took a biopsy and we will know more when the results come back.  something in her diet, and the only thing we have changed/added in the last few months is an increase in calories.  so, we will wait and wont speculate if it is fat, protein or carbs.

he also inserted a PH probe in thru her nose into her esophagus to test the PH levels in her esophagus from reflux or acid.  it’s a 24 hour test, so we are spending the night on the Pediatric floor…not in the PICU, the first non scary room we have ever been in at a hospital.

thanks for all of your love and support…we really appreciate it.  again, Hannah owes all of you big time.

good night from Denver, where we are supposed to get our first significant snow fall of the season!

also…colleen, you are the best oldest sister a girl could ask for…

take no offence Chris, Kathy and kish….colleen is the “Queen of All Aunts” right now…you will all get your time with this title…just you wait
